Terms of Use
These terms are the agreement between you and HeyPlay Interactive Private Limited for use of the HeyPlay platform. Using the app means you accept them. If you do not, please do not use the app.
1Who may use the app
The app is not offered to anyone under 13, and the app does not permit use by anyone under 13.
Voice features (live "talk time") require an age range of 18 or over. Where your device provides an age range under 18, or does not provide one, voice features stay switched off and the rest of the app works normally.
If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the app only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
2What the app is
HeyPlay is a music-driven interactive experience with an AI companion and explorable worlds tuned for different moods — focus, calm, or energy.
The companion is software, not a person. It is not a counsellor, therapist, doctor, or teacher, and what it says may be wrong. It does not provide medical, mental-health, legal, or financial advice. The companion identifies itself as AI, and you should not rely on it for professional advice of any kind.
3Purchases
Apple is the seller of record. All purchases are made through the App Store, and refunds are requested from Apple, not from us — you can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. No purchase is required to use the app.
Talk time is a consumable. Once it is spent it is not returned. We tell you this before purchase, not after.
World packs are one-time unlocks tied to your Apple Account, and can be restored on a new device through Apple.
Your talk-time balance is not transferable, not redeemable for cash, and has no value outside the app.
4Acceptable use
When using the app, you agree not to:
- attempt to bypass the age controls, or misrepresent your age;
- reverse engineer the app, or access it through automated means;
- use it to produce content that is unlawful or harmful.
5No warranty on AI output
The companion's dialogue is generated by an AI system and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your situation. The app and its content are provided as they are; to the extent the law allows, we do not warrant that the AI's output will be correct or fit for any particular purpose.
6Changes, termination and governing law
We may update these terms; when we do, we change the date at the top and, for material changes, give notice in the app. We may suspend or end access to the app where these terms are broken.
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any dispute is subject to the courts at the company's registered seat. Nothing in this section removes any right you have under the consumer-protection law of the place where you live.
